About - The Robins Cellars

Addressing a need for affordable, high quality wines that are more unique, and have more character than many of their mass produced counterparts, E. C. Robins International, Inc. began this wine distribution company in 1990, to complement its wine importation business. After 8 years of operation, we lost our senses and sold the distribution operation, believing our established clients and import business would continue to be served according to our demanding standards. We were mistaken.

So, since May, 2001, we are firmly back in the distribution business and growing. We've established a dedicated, temperature controlled warehouse facility in Richmond, VA, and have stocked it with select products from around the globe. We visit most of our suppliers on a regular basis to exchange ideas, establish strong bonds, and confirm their operations and products are of a quality we wish to represent.

Sensitive to the frustrations restaurants and fine wine retailers face dealing with other distributors, we're initially servicing key Virginia markets, ...... fulfilling orders for our clients rapidly, and completely. We work hard to eliminate barriers when it comes to service so bottles are "flying" out of our cases and we're happy!. If you need a particular product or service, especially if you cannot get it elsewhere, ...all we can say is: "Give us a shot at it!".

This is a "personal" business built upon trust and results. The Robins Cellars has reassembled most of the talented staff from our previous operation, with many decades of experience in the wine business. They are skilled, ...they're here to serve, ...and you should rely upon them.
